Community Groups
In the coming weeks we are going to launch at least one community group with the purpose of gathering together in smaller informal setting to encourage each other in different areas of our life in Christ. We will be following a model that goes back to the early church.
Acts 2:42-27 gives us a small window into what community looked like among Christians back then. In community groups we will be gathering together for fellowship, discussion and learning, and prayer.
We will be meeting in homes and will hope to attract both committed church members and people seeking out faith and not yet comfortable coming to worship on Sunday morning. These groups will have a structure to them but also have enough room for each group to become its own unique community.
